The two main antigens (Surface molecules on pathogens) for coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 are the Nucleocapsid (N) protein and the spike (S) protein. Nucleocapsid (N) protein is abundantly expressed during infections and also has high immunogenic activity. The S protein is highly immunogenic since it is located on the surface of the virus.
If a colored line appears in the S or N area in the cassette, the covid-19 will be positive. as a result mutations in N and S proteins detect simultaneously and distinctly. Depending on whether the infection is caused by protein S or N, the procedure of treatment will change and will eventually improve the treatment procedure.
